SANDRA RAMOS hosting a group from Harvard University organized by Distant Horizons Agency (Oct. 2018)

¨My work is the result of the influence and assimilation of an intellectual, artistic, cultural and historical tradition, based on Cuban socio-political context and interrelated to problems that involve all humanity in the contemporary world¨
¨My work is playful and ironic, intellectually connected to historical figures, popular characters of world literature and illustration, for that purpose I recycle images and stories with moral value as Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland, as well as references to Greek mythology, Philosophy, Science and religion, through a visual reinterpretation of all this in terms of a contemporary context¨

A new opportunity worthy to embrace:

In addition to spending time discussing Sandra's art, Cuban history, and viewing her current prints in her studio, you´ll have the opportunity to create your own prints (using Sandra's wood blocks) with the assistance of studio staff members. Later, you´ll enjoy coffee and appetizers and discussing life, art, family, and the future.
From 9.30 am – 11.30 am, we´ll print, share snacks and talk about art!

KIDS also have their opportunity to participate!

This experience is having a great acceptance among those who visit our studio in Havana. This is a great way to help build bridges of understanding between the Cuban people and our visitors from abroad.
You will not regret it.

Our last visitors from LA and Texas: November 19th, 2018 / Speros family. Thanks for a lovely visit!
